It’s time the legacy media is held accountable for censorship and collusion to suppress the truth!
Earlier this week, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Children’s Health Defense (CHD) filed a first-of-its-kind, landmark antitrust lawsuit in an effort to protect freedom of speech and stop the deliberate, concerted efforts made by the legacy media, colluding with Big Tech, Big Pharma and the government, to suppress critical information.
On Tuesday, RFK, Jr. appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight breaking news about this novel lawsuit filed on Jan. 10 against members of a partnership group of media conglomerates, the Trusted News Initiative (TNI). Members of the TNI include legacy media outlets: the BBC, The Washington Post, Reuters and Associated Press, along with social media and tech giants — Twitter, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Microsoft (LinkedIn) and Google (YouTube).
This lawsuit is seeking damages totaling millions of dollars based on the collusive censorship of online health and political news publishers who dared to question the narrative relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccine mandates and U.S. elections (such as the Hunter Biden laptop story).
Dr. Ben Tapper, Dr. Joseph Mercola, independent news publisher and founder of The Gateway Pundit Jim Hoft, independent journalists Ben Swann and Erin Elizabeth Finn, independent news outlets TrialSite News and Creative Destruction Media and health-freedom activists Ty and Charlene Bollinger join Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and CHD as plaintiffs.
These plaintiffs had combined followers of over 11 million — reaching billions of people with their content.
The complaint explains, “The TNI was spearheaded by legacy news organizations, like the Defendants, fearful of what they themselves described as an ‘existential threat’ to their economic survival: the explosion online of thousands of new, rival sources of news threatening to take audience share away from traditional news organizations and to undermine consumers’ trust in those organizations.”
The Devastating Impact of the Secret Media Cartel
These efforts to silence organizations like CHD, RFK, Jr. and the other plaintiffs in this lawsuit had disastrous effects. Suppression of truthful information related to safe and effective treatments, harms and risks of COVID shots and more deceived the public and destroyed their ability for informed consent.
Due to the silencing of critical health information worldwide, millions of people suffered injuries and deaths, lost their jobs and had their livelihoods, businesses, families and health destroyed.
Plaintiffs joined Wednesday’s Good Morning CHD, hosted by Aimee Villella McBride, to share the impacts of censorship on their businesses and news organizations, as well as on our democracy and the world at large.
Thursday’s episode of Good Morning CHD, hosted by Mary Holland, J.D., featured CHD Chairman Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and attorney Jed Rubenfeld. The show delved deeper into the case, exploring how this first-of-its-kind lawsuit violates Americans’ First Amendment rights.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said:
“My uncle, President Kennedy, and my father, the Attorney General, sought to prosecute antitrust laws that are still on the nation’s books with vigor. As private enforcers of those laws, we are confident that the Federal Court in Texas will vindicate our bedrock freedom to compete with legacy media in the marketplace of ideas.”
Children’s Health Defense is committed to defending children’s health and preserving our fundamental rights. We will exert every effort to prevent the legacy media from destroying our democracy and the health and well-being of future generations. This novel lawsuit seeks to force accountability on the legacy media—admitting their conduct to be unlawful—and bring justice to the plaintiffs.
In truth,
