    Are we fighting a battle for GMO labeling
       and regulation that can’t be won?




Genetically Modified Organisms, GMOs,  represent the alteration of food seeds to produce higher yields with the use us glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Round Up.  The seed is genetically altered to resist the chemical spraying.  Unfortunately,  the human body is suffering from the chemicals and the illnesses caused are rarely associated with the widespread use of this poison in our food supply and in our environment which now  is showing up on your dinner plate.

If you have not grasped the magnitude of GMOs on the planet, the issue could be easily dismissed.  Most are  unaware of the dangers and that was the plan.  GMO crops were developed with very little investigation or regulation and they infiltrated our food supply before we understood.  As people become aware of what GMOs do to the populations of animals and humans that eat them, they step up, demanding unadulterated food.


At this point, GMO crops are within most manufactured foods.  Almost all US corn, soy and wheat is from a GMO crop.  This means that food products from corn oil to animal feed are poisoned.  Most grain cereals and breads will show residue of glyphosate, which is the  same weed killer used in homes and on highways.

Your body regularly handles some poison and detoxes it with normal processing, but once the burden is too high, the body falters.    Feeding daily doses within the food supply, eating animals that have been fed this toxic poison, eating milk products from these same animals and finding these crops within cereals, breads, crackers, pasta and soy products  is overburdening the body. 

If you are already sick, you begin to understand the chain of events that brought your body into submission.  If you are not yet, the problem seems less critical.  The truth is that whatever your position, you have little choice.  The consumer's right to know the facts about  GMOs has been blocked.  

There is no labeling that identifies GMO products in the US.  Meanwhile entire countries have outlawed GMO production.  Other nations demand truthful labelling so that the consumer can choose if and when to poison themselves.  In America we make the clean product label and prove their safety instead.

Poisoning is only one aspect of the damage glyphosate does in our food supply. It is important to understand that glyphosate is a chelator that also binds to minerals in the soil. GMO crops grown in glyphosate treated soil are prevented from absorbing and utilizing these micronutrients because they are binding to the chemical.   This means a weaker food supply for consumers.

Additionally the GMO plants are less able to draw in nitrogen and return it to the soil, which is what plants do for us naturally.  Eventually we end up with nitrogen poor soil which is lacking in minerals and nutrient value. Ultimately there are fewer nutrients available for your body from commercially grown, GMO crops and their by-products.  Our bodies slowly diminish as our food supply becomes less beneficial.  We have become malnourished while eating plentiful amounts and becoming obese.

If your government put a stop to glyphosate use today, it will take a year for the glyphosate to begin to break down. After breaking down, it will take decades for it to disappear. This means you will have multiple sources of contamination for many years. It will be in the air, under your feet and in your food, not to mention any storage in your body organs or tissue.


If GMO production is everything it is touted to be, then there should be little issue with identifying its presence in our food supply. It is time to make a fuss over poison in your food.

You become sick from both from toxic exposure and eventually from the lack of nutrition. It can be caused by poor diet, parasites, infections and even medications.

What are the symptoms?

The list of symptoms above are just the most common.  Every body is different and how it reacts to a leaking gut will be different for everyone.  You should not expect to have every symptom on the list or be surprised if you don't recognize many.

It is Not Just Dandelions that Die When We Poison the Earth

           We are a well trained and taught to believe that a dandelion in your yard is a crime.   We spray and kill, never thinking about what is happening to the earth or its inhabitants.  


We spray dandelions and weeds with pesticides because we believe that “safe” means something in the dictionary of Corporate America. We believe that “environmentally friendly” could not be a lie and we believe the FDA is watching cautiously with our welfare in mind.  We have been marketed into thinking we are making the right choices, but is this liberal use of poison worth the extinction of a few dandelions?

In the world of weed killers, Round Up, with glyphosate as a primary ingredient, is one of the most well known.   A 2009 study found that Americans alone use a mere 100 million pounds of Round Up on lawns and gardens to eradicate weeds. Add to this the amount your government uses on public land, parks, waterfronts and highways.  Add to that the amount used on commercial crops and GMO production that contaminates your food supply.  We now use so much and spray so freely that you can count on having  glyphosate exposure with, or without, your personal use.

Monsanto, the maker of Round Up and glyphosate, continues to claim we are safe.  Cities across America have sued Monsanto  in regard to the safety claims of  this product, but fines are paid and sales continue without State or FDA interference. 

Here are a few bits that might change your mind about the safety of pesticides:

1.  Sri Lanka has identified glyphosate as the leading cause of kidney cancer. They have banned it’s use. 

2.  The growing of GMO crops depends on glyphosate. The heavy spraying on GMO crops, with a tolerance for the chemical, has  laden food supplies with poison that is passed on to the consumer.

3.  GMOs are linked to cancer, hormone disruption and severe liver and kidney damage.

4.  Many who test negative for gluten intolerance  have become suspicious is that they are being poisoned by the pesticides rather than  gluten.

5.  The White House has been linked to Monsanto for many years in relationships that appear to allow Monsanto to self-govern, moving freely without supervision.  The FDA rarely interferes.  

6.  Supreme Court Justice, Clarence Thomas, was a Monsanto lawyer for 4 years. As a Chief Justice, he has ruled in favor of Monsanto, over the people, his entire career.

7.  The ramifications of Round Up will take years to unfold. Many who study the issue believe it is showing today in “new” diseases and complications for the human body. Years from now, the cause will be identified and many years after that, we will beg to have this poison removed from our lives.

8.  Monsanto brought us Agent Orange, DDT and saccharine. We are clear about the progression of these products and the lies about their safety.

9.  Roundup is blamed for the current plight of the Monarch butterfly and bee populations.

10.  When parks and public areas are heavily sprayed, the insect population that dies can take years to recover.

11.  Pope Francis, a trained chemist, has spoken out against GMO, pesticides and workers who are exposed to chemicals. “This is our sin…Exploiting the earth…” he said.

The Food Fight of Your Life:  Monsanto & GMO Production

 We’ve all heard about the genetically modified organism and casually refer to the alteration of seed as GMO. Most people have a general idea about what a GMO is and have some form of an opinion developing.   We have been content with the lack of real understanding, but it is now time to make life altering decisions.

Some accept GMO foods as progress and inevitable. They hear GMOs are responsible for feeding the world and that sounds practical. They hear about pesticide resistant plants and think that might mean less dependency on chemicals.

Others have heard about, and ridiculed, groups being formed to resist GMO production, claiming there dangerous side effects and wanting to warn the world. At the very least, these groups claim, product labeling should announce the use of GMOs in the food supply so the public can choose to delete them from their diet. 

GMO “Bad” is not good enough…


To just dislike GMO produced foods because you’ve heard they are bad, is not enough. There is solid research about GMOs and although it can be conflicting, it is time to understand why and if one truly is affected by them. The decision you make could matter to the world.

Monsanto = GMO...


No one hears the name Monsanto without connecting it to GMO production. Monsanto, the leading GMO producer, has existed since 1901. It is responsible for Saccharine, DDT, Agent Orange, Bovine Growth Hormone, Round Up and a large number of other products that are familiar, including their genetically modified seeds.

There is little disagreement that many products on the Monsanto list of creations are troublesome to say the least. Their dangers have taken years to uncover and even longer to be eliminated from the marketplace.

We are clear that the public was lied to about DDT being safe. We are clear that Agent Orange was responsible for catastrophic life changing conditions for those who were exposed to it during the Vietnam War. Now the awareness of Bovine Growth Hormone and Round Up is putting these products on the list of critical concerns by those who understand that these “safe” products are extreme hazards to health and the environment.


So what about this seed issue? Can we trust that genetically modified seed production is in our best interest? We have been lied to in the past, making at least half of the argument, Monsanto’s half, unreliable.

Where are US Controls?

Twenty-six nations have banned GMOs. Sixty-four countries demand GMO labeling. Among them China, Australia, Austria, India, Mexico and Italy, but not the United States of America. Those who wonder how this could be believe it is because the FDA does not effectively regulate Monsanto, ignoring the public demand for tighter controls.

Some very close alliances have existed between the White House, Monsanto and the US Food and Drug Administration. Alliances include Monsanto’s former lawyer, Michael Taylor, being given a position created for him by first President Bush in response to an FDA request. He was in charge of policy when GMO restrictions, or “non-restrictions,” were put in place by the FDA.

Taylor later became the vice president of Monsanto and then on to the White House as Food Czar under President Obama which raises serious questions.  It appears that these incestuous relationships have allowed Monsanto to operate blatantly, without controls.

Cities across the United States have sued Monsanto in connection with dangerous products claimed to be “safe."  Once sued, Monsanto has been allowed to carry on with business as usual after simply paying fines. Even Monsanto fines reaching seven-hundred million dollars seem to have little affect on curtailing the sale of dangerous products.

Where is the Food and Drug Administration?

This is the FDA response to Monsanto’s submission for approval of genetically modified corn:

“FDA evaluated Monsanto’s submission to determine whether MON 87427 corn raises any safety or regulatory issues with respect to the intended modification or with respect to the food and feed itself. Based on the information provided by the company and other information available to the agency, FDA did not identify any safety or regulatory issues under the FD&C Act or current FDA regulations that would require further evaluation at this time. Monsanto has concluded that its glyphosate-tolerant corn variety, MON 87427 corn, and the foods and feeds derived from it are as safe as conventional corn varieties and, with the exception of the herbicide tolerance trait, are not materially different in composition or any other relevant parameter from other corn varieties now grown, marketed, and consumed in the U.S. At this time, based on Monsanto’s data and information, the agency considers Monsanto’s consultation on MON 87427 corn to be complete.”

Note that the FDA relies on “information provided by the company.” Curiously opponents are refused a platform. Those who oppose Monsanto reports find themselves without careers, with futures destroyed and ridiculed for opposing the findings. One has to wonder how this can be possible.

“All Disease Begins in the Gut,” even Fibromyalgia

It’s been 2000 years since Hippocrates mentioned it and finally, we are listening again.  "All disease begins in the gut" is as true today as when it was first said.   When disease strikes, the gut should be the first place we suspect, not the last. It can be responsible for minor upsets to catastrophic life conditions.

Body pain, diarrhea, constipation, exhaustion, bloating, abdominal discomfort, joint pain, anxiety, concentration lapses, memory lapses, depression, hyperactivity, fatigue, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, skin rashes, gluten intolerance, numbness, tingling, vaginal infections, nail infections, urinary distress and autoimmune diseases are the most recognizable symptoms of an upset gut.  These complaints are common, yet, are rarely  recognized as poor gut health. Because symptoms of an unhealthy gut are not on everyone's radar, they are usually misdiagnosed and medicated improperly.

Gut disturbances take time to manifest.  They can become so familiar to us, over decades of brewing, that they go unnoticed for years.  Finally, when true illness takes up residency, we look elsewhere for the cause, never suspecting the gut.  

Diagnosis of fibromyalgia, chronic illness or autoimmune conditions are among the usual misdiagnoses.  The initial reaction is to medicate the symptoms which can add to the issues by allowing them to evolve and persist.

The usual culprits to suspect with gut issues are candida and Leaky Gut Syndrome.  Both are  instigated by poor diet and wage war on the body.  Understanding these two possibilities could save you years of discomfort and searching.

As Americans, laws restrict our primary health care to conventional pharmaceutical practices and surgeries. Insurance companies, which we are now obligated to support, limit our healing choices.

We don’t expect to be reimbursement for simple remedies that might restore the body without harmful side effects. Courts have intervened and decided that we don’t always have the right to use our internal wisdom to allow our bodies to heal. We can be forced to engage in pharmaceuticals for ourselves or loved ones by order of the laws of our nation.

How did this happen? When did we lose control of the right to decide how and if we choose to interfere with the natural course of physical healing?

Where: The United States of America, Land of the Free
Why: To create a monopoly of the health care system...It worked!

Three powerful men with a mind to succeed, created a monster that breathes fire to this day. The public bows to that monster and prays for it to be their savior, when in reality it is all done with smoke and mirrors. Behind that screen, there is no power stronger or more intellectual than the power and intellect of the human body.

The power of the monster exists only because humans are naturally impressionable and tend to follow. In a busy world it is easy to do what you are told and very troublesome to lean outside the box. Planning unconventional healing takes time and effort. Pills offering instant relief seem easier in the moment.

There was a time when people trusted the natural resources to heal themselves.  They looked to the earth and supported their bodies naturally.

So how did we get off this track and forget about natural healing?  We were trained to forget. Since the Rockefeller machine was developed we have been held hostage to the desires of Big Parma. Marketing has trained us out of believing in our own power to heal.

John D. Rockefeller began his quest to manage the pharmaceutical industry soon after he was found guilty of corruption within the oil industry. Using those same management skills, he set out with the pack of three to gain control of teaching institutions.

Universities were generously funded by the three. Boards were seated with their agents and together they deliberately decided what research would be done and what pharmaceuticals would be brought to market. This original drug cartel stipulated that only pharmaceutical medicine could be taught. And so it was. They were in control.

Soon the group found lawmakers to support their activities. Naturopathic's were denounced and practitioners were no longer openly able to actively make claims in regard to healing. Laws were put into place that made many known healing procedures illegal. Soon only those practicing with chemical based pharmaceuticals and surgery could be licensed.

Even though renown scientist and doctors fought for the right to utilize natural medicinal remedies they did not conquer the machine. Linus Pauling, double Nobel Prize winner, and Dr. Matthias Rath fought to maintain the right to use healing agents found in nature. They believed that micronutrient deficiency was the root of all disease. They knew that all disease could be cured by nature. That thought remains today in those who understand the functions of the body and seek naturopathic healing in spite of laws and insurance restrictions.

Instead of making headway to securing the future of natural agents as remedies, Pauling and Rath were force to watch all science be manipulated by these industry giants. Soon all textbooks, all research, all publications, laws, production of chemical based medicines and the cost of medicines were in control of the pharmaceutical machine that remains in control today.

NO Corporate Food

Vegans, vegetarians, junk fooders alike, we’ve all heard about how to get healthier. It’s a complex issue and the flow of information does not stop. There are loads of ideas, recipes, opinions and personal convictions. Then there is the restriction and suffering that changing the diet brings. How and where to start can be overwhelming.

You can include, micronutrients, minerals, organics, glutens, non-glutens, whole food sweeteners and a list of options. Some options get very specific and really need intense study to make sure you are managing your chosen lifestyle properly.

Confused?

Here’s a starting point. 
Just say NO to corporate food!

What does that mean?

Packaged, pre-cooked, assembled elsewhere, boxed, just add water, instant, heat and serve…all code for we have left the nutrients in a drain in another city. You can eat these things, but you cannot honestly call them food. They ceased to be food long before they reached you.

Even micronutrients cannot undo the damage corporate food is doing to your body. Combining nutrients with poor quality nutrition is better than nothing, but you have to get the concept that commercial, corporate products are often just not food any longer. They do provide calories and your body does burn them, but it is low grade fuel at best.

Then factor in the hidden fructose, fats and the carcinogenic chemicals that you cannot pronounce. Eating a few greens won’t help you recover from a diet of processed, corporate food.

Restaurant eating is a little tricky. Ingredients are unknown to you, but that is no excuse for eating chemicals. Finding restaurants that use fresh ingredients is helpful. But, generally if you indulge in chain restaurant foods, even high end chains, your food was made miles away and shipped to the location nearest you. You are being filled with preservatives, chemicals, sugars and fats that you cannot identify.

Avoiding low end chains restaurants is a good start.  A greasy spoon has much more chance of including some nutrient value than a low end chain. “Food” cannot be purchased for a dollar. It just doesn’t work that way. If you’ve ever been in a market, you know better than to believe you are being sold “food” for a dollar at a drive-thru. Calories, fats, preservatives and carcinogens, yes; but you are not ordering what you can consciously classify as food.

If you just can’t stop eating at your favorite location, do it knowing that you are feeding yourself and not your body in that moment. If you choose fast, chain food, knowing it is not food, you owe your body a meal.

A good trick in a restaurant is to ask a few questions. In a conventional restaurant, meaning non-chain, always ask about the salad dressings and desserts. “Which ones do you make on-site?” That question is code for….which ones will be fresh and made without chemicals or preservatives. If table mates fuss at your questions, you can say what I say…”I’m just trying to stay alive”.

Why Bother?

If you have never experience health, it is hard to describe why you should bother. Words cannot describe the vibrancy and a clear outlook on life that a healthy body provides. It’s a small state of nirvana. Oddly enough when you reach it and feel great, you try to see how many of your old habits you can enjoy again. People fall off and get back on the ride back to health. It’s like quitting smoking; even a day of health is better than nothing.

Once you experience the vibrancy of health, you do want more. You also understand the goal in a new way. It’s impossible to tell a junk fooder that they don’t feel well because they believe they feel fine. They have no comparison and frankly, the vision takes awhile to appreciate. It’s a blind faith challenge in the beginning.

A good way to discover the feeling of vibrant health is to fast for a reasonable period of time. Get some help in finding a fast that suits you, with juices and the nutrients you need. After cleaning out the body, you begin to feel yourself recovering. When you reintroduce foods, you will be counseled to start slowly with quality foods, fruits and vegetables.

When your body is clean it is easy to feel how different foods fuel you. You will taste the sweetness of vegetables and things you never considered as sweet with the changes in your palate. Eat small amounts to truly realize how food fuels you as you reintroduce them.

You will feel the power of the first protein reintroduced into your body and how it feels to fill up on different nutrients. Inevitably an unhealthy choice will find you. If you are still extremely clean, you will feel the response, or lack of response, your body has to it. It just won’t provide you with the fuel you need. If it is sugar and white flour you will likely get to experience what it really does for you when it takes you for a high ride, only to be followed by the low.

Ultimately, we all know that we should aspire to increase health and fertilized our bodies with as many nutrients as possible. Just do one thing to begin and let the rest take shape in a journey. What you understand you will do more willingly.
