Heavy metals are now a common form of poisoning.
They are rarely considered as a root cause of pain
or illness and are misdiagnosed far too often.

You are casually in contact with heavy metals daily.  This makes contamination too easy for any of us to suspect we are NOT metals toxic.  Diagnosis is difficult as Western medicine still believes in a simple blood test which cannot show toxicity that is stored in tissue or organs.  Illness begins slowly and can be confusing.

Symptoms of metal toxicity will show in an endless number of ways.  Some symptoms will be classic, while others won’t show up on any list of potential ailments.  What is true is that the symptoms change and cycle without notice.  During detoxing familiar symptoms, and new ones, could appear and then disappear without an established pattern.  It makes for a bit of craziness, but it is natural in the unnatural world of metals poisoning.

The mixing of metals in the body, takes everything to a new level.  When metals are combined together, or with other stored toxins, the effects are not double.  The effects are exponential, increasing at unknown rates because of the lack of absolute knowledge of what is stored in the body.

On any given day, one of many stored toxins could leach from storage in bones or tissue and dump into the bloodstream, causing the symptoms of their choice.  There are similarities about symptoms, but there are no absolutes.

Symptoms Can Include:
Chronic pain
Pain cycles
Lethargy
Fatigue
Weakness
Muscle pain
Joint pain
Anxiety
Fibromyalgia
Depression
Irritability
Mood Swings
Rage
Flashes of anger
Depression
Brain fog
Forgetfulness
Memory issues
Palsy
Tremors
Restless Leg Syndrome
Tingling
Numbness
Restless sleep
Sleep disorders
Chronic infections
Headaches
Sensitivity to sounds
Sensitivity to light
Confusion with overstimulation
Panic Disorders
Anxiety
Learning Disabilities
ADHD
Autism
Behavioral disorders
Psychiatric disorders
Trouble processing thoughts
Trouble processing words
Difficulty spelling
Low body temperature
Dark circles under the eyes
Weight gain
Weight loss
Loss of appetite
Abdominal pain
Colic
Upset bowels
Face sores
Skin breakouts
Development delays
Vomiting
Slower than normal growth
High blood pressure

The truth about metals poisoning....it can complicate life in any way it chooses.  You can feel crazy, out of control, tired, depressed and unable to perform daily tasks.  They can create a body that is in survival mode for years before finally debilitating it.

If Fibromyaglia Isn't a Disease, What Is It?

Classified as an incurable condition,
Fibromyalgia is misunderstood to
be a disease.

For the record...it is not incurable.

Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is real, but it is an empty diagnosis.  It is a catch-all diagnosis that could actually be caused by a variety of contributors.  There is an insurance code for fibromyalgia that will get the doctor paid and provide you with drugs for a lifetime, but you will never get well from them.

The Mayo Clinic defines fibromyalgia with very flimsy parameters.  Everyone in pain seems to qualify.  The problem is they believe it to be “incurable,” making it a life sentence for one who accepts the diagnosis.  To me, the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, felt like code for “we have no idea what is wrong with you” and they did not.

Mayo Clinic Defines Fibromyalgia
The Mayo Clinic defines fibromyalgia as follows:
“Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals.

Symptoms sometimes begin after a physical trauma, surgery, infection or significant psychological stress. In other cases, symptoms gradually accumulate over time with no single triggering event. Women are much more likely to develop fibromyalgia than are men. Many people who have fibromyalgia also have tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety and depression.”

I believe the Mayo Clinic is Wrong
I believe that the Mayo Clinic is wrong.  I believe that fibromyalgia is a collection of symptoms for which the cause has not been determined.  The diagnosis of fibromyalgia should be a temporary description of one’s condition while the search for the cause continues.

While there is said to be no cure for fibromyalgia, it is agreed that a variety of medications can help control symptoms.  It is also agreed that gentle exercise, relaxation, adequate sleep and stress management manage symptoms.

What is less understood is how important nutrition is to those with fibromyalgia-like symptoms.   Universally, it seems that discomfort is increased by sugar, white flour, processed foods and soda.  These things seem to fuel pain.  The role of a candida gut  or leaky gut is also a familiar connection.

Fibromyalgia is what I call a “designer disease.”  The collective symptoms mimmic many other conditions that are caused by a number of things, including heavy metals and other poisons.  The unfortunate reality is that once a diagnosis is made, all search for the root cause is halted.  This feels like a less than credible approach to wellness.

Chronic Pain, Chronic illness and Autoimmune Disease…                                   You might be a Lead Head

The body does not create pain,
illness or disease without a reason.

These are the symptoms of what
your body is suffering.

What if poison was the source?

It is my opinion that those with chronic conditions and autoimmune diseases should be routinely tested for metals poisoning before a diagnosis is accepted.  The similarity in symptoms are too many to ignore.  Given the prevalence of metals exposure in consumables and dentistry, it seems irresponsible to ignore metals as the potential root of many of these chronic conditions.

Some assume that their doctor would have known if toxicity was an issue, but that is not necessarily true.  Traditional Western medicine does not attempt to link established disorders to a root cause.  Once a diagnosis is made, and the puzzle seems to fit, the search ends. Maybe that is where the search for the cause should begin.

Looking at metals as a possible source of toxicity seems reasonable. They can be ingested orally, absorbed through the skin or inhaled as with metals in cigarette smoke or in dust particles.  Clearly the opportunity for exposure is everywhere from natural sources, industry, our food supply, dentistry and water.  Rather than asking who might be metals toxic, the real question should be, “Who among us is NOT metals toxic?”

The body has systems in place to remove toxicity and they are active day and night.  The problem begins when the body has too many toxins to dispose of quickly enough to keep you alive.  Its remedy is to store the excess to keep the body safe and functioning.  It is this storage and warehousing of toxicity that evolves into trouble, causing unexplained chronic conditions.

Unaware of exposure, you may have never felt sick or recognized an incident of poisoning.  Initially you showed no symptoms and had no idea trouble was brewing.   Then one day, seemingly without notice, things change.  Pain and illness begin to manifest without an obvious cause.  Symptoms surface as the body burden finally reaches its limit.

The undeniable signs of toxicity can take years to manifest because the body is a working miracle and is determined to keep you functioning.  Once symptoms appear, the search for a diagnosis begins.   Most cases of metals poisoning are misdiagnosed and end up with a “disease,” a “condition” and a “pill” that are not appropriate.  Meanwhile the metals poisoned body is in constant distress and creating what I call a Lead Head.

Symptoms Vary

Symptoms of metals poisoning vary.  The timing of a toxicity crisis is also individual.  The ever changing symptoms are difficult to pinpoint and ultimately, a doctor finds a diagnosis that seems to fit and you are labeled or mislabeled, as the case may be.  If nothing else, you can be offered the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, the melting pot for too many symptoms.

Because there is no definite patterns for metals poisoning symptoms, they are often confused with other conditions.  How symptoms manifest has a lot to do with exactly what metals are involved and how they are stored.  Every body is different.  Add to that difference, the ranges in diet and lifestyle.

Combinations of metals can produce a variety of symptoms that differ even more.  As levels of toxicity change from day to day, so do the symptoms, making chaos of a diagnosis.

Unwanted metals in the body need a place to store.  Tissue and bone are selected by the body as storage areas.  Metals will replace essential minerals when they settle.

The body's storage of metals causes changes.  Calcium can be replaced by lead. Zinc can be replaced by cadmium. Magnesium can be replaced by aluminum and so on.  The losses of these vital minerals will each bring their own symptom groupings.  This is what makes casual diagnosis tricky.

Autoimmune issues can develop when molecules change due to the invasion of metals. When they are disrupted and not recognized by the body, the immune system resists these changes and begin to essentially fight with itself.  This internal warfare brings a whole new set of issues.

Meanwhile, heavy metals make the body acidic.  The body needs a constant pH level or you will die, so it sets out to correct the added acidity.  That action triggers the body to use stored calcium which causes osteoporosis among other conditions that can be diagnosed before metals are considered.

Metals create chaos which makes the ever changing symptoms understandable.  Now add to this the detoxification process which disrupts the body yet agin by reintoducing metals into blood stream from storage in the body.  Not knowing what metal is being released or what essential mineral might be missing makes every day different for a Lead Head.  It is literally crazy making.

With so much casual exposure to toxicity, it seems reasonable that a check for metals is in order before settling on a diagnosis with similar symptoms?  We could all benefit from knowing our metals levels just like we benefit from knowing our blood pressure.

NOTE:  Those with chronic conditions and painful bodies who are still housing  silver, amalgam fillings, must consider this ongoing source of contamination as a root problem.
