During these 100 years of pharmaceutical focused cancer research, that some don’t hesitate to call a “race” to find a cure, modern man has gone to the moon and back, thrown out the mimeograph machine and created the internet. Still we have not cured cancer.
Does it sound reasonable that all of these years of funding Big Pharma has only brought us harsher and more expensive drugs? Where is the measurable success of this campaign except in the pockets of Big Pharma?
Yet, the race goes on, year after year. The statistic keep rising and your friends are still dying. Do you think we are just not giving enough money to the effort? Or is it something else?
Have you wondered if your gifts ever funded research to discover the nutritional needs of cancer patients, alternative medicine or to legitimize natural cures that are being offered behind closed doors? Do you wonder why all legal cancer options are Big Pharma related? Do you wonder why the spectrum of research is not broader? I do.
If finding the cure has not succeeded in 100 years, why hasn’t the focus shifted to include research on natural cures and ancient remedies that have a history of healing cancers? I think we know it is because the pharmaceutical machine controls all of health care in America. It is time to expect more.
